Environmental Resource Center at Crowder College has been providing quality environmental training since 1959.

All of our Faculty hold water and waste-water licensures as well as have in-plant experience. The Faculty oversee grant projects for the Environmental Protection Agency and the Department of Natural Resources as well as provide consulting to numerous municipalities and industries. Their first-hand knowledge is a benefit to students and the learning environment.

The Environmental Resource Center is the designated Missouri State Training Center for the training of personnel involved in the operation, maintenance and management of water quality facilities. Upon successful completion of the 16-week program, graduates will typically hold a Class "D" drinking water treatment and a Class "D" wastewater treatment license. Also, the intensive academic and hands-on laboratory training provide a sound foundation for future employment. Facilities all over the United States are eager to hire graduates of the Waterschool at the Environmental Resource Center of Crowder College.
